I'm Guy, an artist from Staffordshire, United Kingdom.

I've been an artist since I was a child & have always been passionate about creativity.

Turning nothing into something has always inspired & fascinated me! - Staring at a blank canvas, wondering where it will take you, then after all the hours, standing back, absorbing your work, realising the outcome, is mesmerising!

I primarily work in Pencils, Inks, Acrylics & Watercolours as I love loose, expressionistic pieces which can be interpreted in many ways.

All art provokes a reaction!

I like to keep my work varied, fresh & interesting, so I will create anything that intrigues me.

I don't confine myself to one 'genre' of art, as creating should be freeing & an outlet to express.

I find inspiration & beauty in the world around me, any subject, be it portraits, flowers, animals etc, in whichever style I feel inspired to create, mainly being: Abstract, Expressionism/Impressionism & Illustration.

I create with passion, instinct & meaning.

Three words fuel my creativity

Imagine - an idea & how it will look. But what medium? What style?

Create - the work is created & most likely has differences to what was imagined. But is the outcome intriguing or rewarding? Were abilities stretched and new techniques tried?

Inspire - art was made, creativity fulfilled. Regardless of the outcome, an idea into reality. You inspire yourself from creating a piece from concept. And now, means you've inspired others to create with freedom!
